Production Information: Theater company seeking strong singers & dancers to participate in the musical, Sh-Boom! Life Could Be a Dream, created by Roger Bean. This musical features '60s hits including: “Fools Fall in Love,” “Tears on my Pillow,” “Runaround Sue,” “Earth Angel,” “Stay,” “Unchained Melody,” “Lonely Teardrops,” and “The Glory of Love" and will be performed at the historic Newhall Family Theatre in Oldtown Newhall.

Location: Valencia Town Center (24201 Valencia Blvd. Suite #3412) in Santa Clarita, CA. Applicants will be asked to sing a 16-32 bar excerpt from a 50’s era song, will be asked to read a side, and will be taught a short dance combination.

Show Description: Meet Denny and the Dreamers, a fledgling doo-wop singing group preparing to enter the Big Whopper Radio contest to realize their dreams of making it to the big time! Trouble comes in the form of Lois, who arrives to put some polish on the boys. Denny falls in love, Wally falls in line, Eugene falls apart, and along comes handsome heartthrob Duke to send the whole situation spinning.
